Current Projects
Green Chemistry Benchmarking- a project to identify critical leverage points necessary to move the field forward. Some of the areas we are examining are: supply vs. demand for Green Chemists, education and training, investment, policy and market drivers, strategic opportunities.
Cross-pollinating Environmental Health Sciences and Green Chemistry- a project to build collaborative connections between between Green Chemistry and Environmental Health Sciences. Green Chemistry is profoundly dependent on the rapidly evolving field of environmental health sciences for design signals. To support capacity in the field of Green Chemistry, AGC is undertaking a set of activities to help the two fields.
Science Communication Fellows Program - Environmental Health Sciences has established a highly competitive fellowship program that trains early career scientists how to translate and effectively communicate research – and its scientific and societal implications – to general audiences. The fellowship is unique in that it places researchers at the interface between science and journalism.. Advancing Green Chemistry is now partnering with EHS to include green chemistry fellows in this program.
